1.5 tons of fruits!

1.5 tons of fruits! This is how you show us that you care.

In our 2 Fruit Fusion caravans we managed to collect almost one ton and a half of fruits: apples, bananas, oranges, pineapples, kiwis, grapefruits, coconuts, pomegranates, pomelos, lemons and even raisins and pistachios. This is what we call Fruit Fusion! After considering all these fact, we realized that this concept wasn’t just a coincidence for us. It came to us for a reason: we can metaphorically say that Modiwo plays fruit fusion style. Our music is so diverse, colorful and juicy that it fills you up with energy and life. Our songs are fruits; fruits of our love for what is beautiful. And so are the children that received all the fruits. We know it sounds cheesy, but…so what? We had so much fun with the kids in different shelters and we would like to thank you all for giving us this opportunity! We played for them, we played with them and they were very happy to receive the fruits, the symbol of your care for them.

Our gratitude goes also to people and organizations without whom all these wouldn’t have been so great. In Oradea we had the help of our musician friends, the “Sphere”, in Baia Mare the incredibly efficient crew from Team 4 Youth and in Cluj the inexhaustible guys from OSUT and the support from BCJ.

All in all, our fruity campaign was an amazing experience. We made new friends, we traveled a lot and had tons of fun. I don’t know if you ever had a car full of fruits, but the smell of it is better than any car freshner ever! The scent of fresh fruits still dwells in our van. We’ll miss it until next caravan.
