Modiwo in the TIMAF semifinals

Crimea. Relaxing on a mild coast with a soft breeze cooling the body. This was our vacation and meeting with our friends from Atmasfera; but about this in a future blog. As we ’relax on the coast with the breeze’ we hear the phone ring, and then again, and then an email. Yes, we are announced we qualified for the semifinals of TIMAF (Transylvania International Music and Art Festival). And yes, we have to cut our vacation short, pack our things and get ready for the show cause we open for the well-known Romanian band ‘Vama’.

We arrive at 3 in the morning on the concert day, sleep for few hours, wake up, have a final rehearsal and go to the soundcheck. All went nice and smooth; besides the fact that our car battery went off in the morning when we were supposed to start on the road, but a bit of towing did the trick so here we are on the concert. We can honestly say that it was one of our best concerts so far. We had a lot of fun, a good response from the audience, the organizers liked it and we met the guys from Vama and had a nice talk with Tudor Chirila about a common interest of ours: Thirty Seconds to Mars band.
