We already talked about World Music, about the characteristics of World Music and how it represents us as a band. But, World Music represents the traditional part, it’s about different cultures that inspire us. Today, we introduce you the modern part, the mixed styles that appeal to us. The list of musical genres is only partial and it’s dynamic. Meaning that we don’t literally create in these styles, but after the creation process ends we notice the different musical influences that intermingled in our songs. We try to come up with new ways of looking at sounds and new ways of putting styles together. We introduce you alternative BOOM music!

What is alternative music?

Alternative music is in fact a mix of different styles of music like rock, metal, dubstep, instrumental, symphonic. We mix these styles of music in a way that represents our band and our concept about the art of music. For example, dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that has appeared as a development of related styles as 2-step garage, broken beat, drum and bass and dub reggae. This music generally features syncopated drum and percussion patterns with bass lines. If you listen to our songs, you will notice the influence of dubstep combined with instruments of percussion, drums and bass. We use different mixes in order to create different songs. Just like cake recipes, where every ingredient is important and helps to form a final product unique and tasty.

We like to say that alternative world music is a blend of present with the past, resulting a fusion of modern influences, all this together creating the image of our band. Alternative style means freshness, energy and modern sounds. World Music can be defined as the tendency to recontextualize sounds of the traditional past.

So breathe the energy of our mosaic, diverse, alternative world music!
